Fondant Polaroid Camera birthday cake

This cake is meant to be a representation of the older style Polaroid camera-the 690 in this case. The camera itself is all handed carved, frosted with buttercream and covered in fondant. The camera is detailed with the flash, lens, dials and more. All detail is hand cut and sculpted from fondant. The camera is butter yellow cake which holds up a bit better for carving. The Polaroid is sitting on top of a 12" 2 layer golden yellow cake, frosted with buttercream and covered in fondant. It is finished with white fondant beads.
