This was a fun process coming up with this cake idea. I had a request for a birthday cake from a daughter for her father's 70th birthday. This was all I had to go on. I asked her what her father's hobbies were or if he collected anything. In fact, he collected Lionel O gauge trains. I did my research and this is what I came up with! The train is yellow cake covered in fondant and was all hand carved and pieced together. The cake is a two tier 8" and 10" round covered in fondant.Monday, April 12, 2010
