This was an order for a 102 year old's birthday. Her daughter wanted a small cake to feed three people. This is a 6" round, double layer. It is covered in fondant with daisy fondant decorations.
I made this for a good friend for her baby shower. This is a great pan because it is so versatile-you can decorate the carriage any way you'd like, and for any gender. Unfortunately, this picture doesn't have the greatest resolution.
This was my twins second birthday cake. It was before I really got into decorating, so it's one of my first. The reason why I included it was because of the dog house-it's a great pan that I have that can be used various ways. I used three of them in a row for the barn in the horse and barn cake. You can also make a haunted house, or a princess castle, etc.
I made this for a good friend for her daughter's baptism. These were the first buttercream roses I ever did! This is fully tip decorated with buttercream icing.
My neighbor was going to be out of town for her husbands birthday. She asked me to make and deliver him a mountain bike cake. This is a 6" ultimate chocolate round cake with a fondant mountain bike and fondant finish line banner.
A good friend wanted her daughter's first birthday to be very special. She was very specific that she wanted a daisy cake, two layers, with a rhinestone in the middle.

This was the birthday girl's smash cake!! A three layered mini cake all her own!
This is a two layer daisy cake, decorated with the petal tip. The 'rhinestone' in the middle is gray fondant, painted with silver luster dust, and sprinkled with silver cake sprinkles. The bottom layer is yellow cake and the top layer is chocolate cake. A wilton flower pan was used for both layers and then they were hand carved to resemble the daisy mom wanted for her daughter.
This is one of my favorite cakes to date. I had an order for a cake for an annual Christmas party. She wanted something elegant and this is what I came up with. A two tiered square cake with silver fondant bow, and fondant holly and berry decorations.
This is my very first experience with fondant! I was very happy with the outcome. The 10" cake seen here is an example of what the cake below was to look like.
My neighbor's daughter was turning one and she wanted a beautiful cake to ring in the occasion! She asked for a three tiered cake with fondant, daisies, and dots. These are 12', 10" and 8" rounds. Buttercream icing between the layers, covered in fondant with fondant decorations of varying sized daisies and dots. This was my first 'big' fondant cake.
Above are super cute and time intensive horse cupcakes I made for my twins birthday party at preschool. The heads were circus peanuts and the necks were wafer cookies. The mane and tail were piped with buttercream icing.
I made this horse and barn cake for my twins third birthday. The barn is yellow cake covered in red fondant and fondant detail. The horses were my first attempt with modeling chocolate. They were fully edible. The fence was painted with edible paint to resemble the wood grains. The bottom layer is a 14" square with chocolate cake and green grass buttercream icing.
These were made for a fundraiser for my kids preschool. The cupcakes are chocolate cake, covered with a thin layer of buttercream icing and then fondant. There are fondant leaf decorations on top. *Note: that is my old logo on the cards in the background.
I was asked to do a Super Mario Bros cake. I was given free reign with regards to the design. I purchased the Wilton Mario pan and tip decorated him with buttercream icing. This was a fun process coming up with this cake idea. I had a request for a birthday cake from a daughter for her father's 70th birthday. This was all I had to go on. I asked her what her father's hobbies were or if he collected anything. In fact, he collected Lionel O gauge trains. I did my research and this is what I came up with! The train is yellow cake covered in fondant and was all hand carved and pieced together. The cake is a two tier 8" and 10" round covered in fondant.
I made this as a hostess gift for a summer 'soiree' we were invited to. I was humbled when I was told the cake was actually used the next day as a birthday cake for the son's birthday!! This was a very special cake ordered by a mother for her daughter turning 21. It was very important that there be 'bling', so she bought the fake solitaire ring. I made a white fondant pillow to hold the ring. She wanted a high heel which I made out of white chocolate, covered in gumpaste and hand painted a zebra print. The purse is white cake, covered in black fondant with a silver fondant bow which was dusted with silver luster dust. The martini glass was a last minute addition. I made fondant olives with a '21' on them to lay in the 'martini'. The cake is white cake with buttercream icing. The bottom layer is a 12" round and that sits on a board covered in fondant. The circumference of the cake is adorned with black fondant beads.

The six boxed mini cupcakes at the top were favors sent home to all who attended the party. The order was for 24 of these boxes, with six mini's each. There is an assortment of chocolate and yellow in there as well.

The zamboni is yellow cake with buttercream icing. It is covered in fondant with fondant accents, and brushed with blue edible luster dust. The controls are all edible as well.
My name is Kristyn. I have a Master's degree in Nursing and worked as an Adult Nurse Practitioner until I had my twins. I then decided to stay home to rasie them and realized I have a love for creating unique cakes and other sweets. I decided to get a bit more serious about it, and now do it in my spare time!
